47 % off

Romney, who is a very good competitor for Obama, Has shown very great ideas when it comes to building up the American economy. No I'm not a republican nor a democrat, I'm more undecided then anything and trying to figure out which political party I firmly believe in. But after the release of Romney's 47% off Statement i am shifting more to the democratic side.

"My job is not to worry about those people," Romney told donors at a May 17 fundraiser in Boca Raton, Fla. "I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.""There are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them," Romney said during a question and answer session at a $50,000 per plate gathering. "And they will vote for this president no matter what.

Showing his true Colors? I think so. To bluntly write off almost half the nation whether in private or in public, is not a candidate that I want to see in office, and I am sure that that there are now more then 47% of Americans who will not vote for him.

Looking forward to the Presidential election to see what type of damage control this unfit candidate will come up with. The average teen turns to MTV, BET, or VH1 for their daily does of reality TV drama, I on the other hand turn to CNN and tune into any political discussion. Politicians just don't understand that all they are doing is tearing America apart and setting us up for the next civil war. Isn't it bad enough we are on the brink of World War Three? Get y'all act together UNITY is KEY!

Any who I am done ranting for today, this has just been a major issue that I have discussed in several of my classes and I felt people should completely understand my view.

But keeping this short and sweet, with promises of a new and better post really soon. I have to find a custumes for fright fest at six flags, any suggestions?

What a Weekend

Let me give you a run down of my weekend. To sum it all up in one word... AMAZING! I took my A.C.T's which I think I did pretty good on and I spent it with people I loved and missed dearly. I went in with no knowledge on my S.A.T not even knowing what would it look like or have on it besides writing, reading, math and science. I found it to be pretty basic and common sense for the most part. I also fell in love with the essay, it was a topic that stuck home for me (which i will tell you more about when i get my scores) I was able to write three a three page essay of good quality stuff. This was not only a shocker to me but a first as well. Any how after sitting six hours in a class room of drop dead humid silence, i began to lose to lose focus. I was astonished to see I had already stayed up in my lack of sleep and hunger. Just as my eyes started to close it began to thunder, and me being extremely terrified of thunder fought back tears and became not only alert to the storm outside but to my task at hand-- My A.C.T's. The cool breeze form out side swept over me as it did I couldn't help but feel the presence of God pushing me through and guiding me to the end. By time the test concluded I was wide awake ad ready to spend the rest of my day with one of my favorite guys.
I had truly, whole heartily enjoyed my Saturday night date with my boyfriend but after a stressed filled testing morning and an lively night downtown, my bed was truly the love of my night. I have to say though, Sunday morning church had been what I needed to prepare for this busy week that lie ahead of me. After not being to church in three weeks due to pageants, moving, and partying my summer away, it had be a breath of fresh air to be back there with the people I love  and my two favorite guys-God and my best friend. I left church uplifted and ready to take on anything. All i needed was "hope."
So yea, that pretty much sum up my busy weekend, I am also sorry if this post was a little to religious orientated but he is an awesome God we serve and he deserves his recognition at all times.

Worn Out

I am worn out already and senior year hasn't even came into full swing. The first day back was unorganized... as usual. Besides it being unorganized it was pretty hectic as well. We have no guidance counselor, Messed up schedules and worst of all... two classes of freshmen (middle school sixth graders and High school ninth graders). I secretly look forward to freshmen Friday every year hoping some type of non-violent prank take place but it never do. Speaking of prank, i should start planning for senior prank ( any ideas?). But back you school... trying to make my college/scholarship applications, and resume display a continuous work ethic, I routed to take a full one to eight period schedule. This is what it looks like

Period 1- speech communications
period 2- A.P English Language and Composition
Period 3- A.P U.S. History
Period 4- Girls P.E (tuesday & thursday)
Period 4- Free (monday, wednesday & friday)
Period 5- A.P. U.S. Government
Period 6- Lunch(even though i just go and do homework or applications)
Period 7- Earth Science
Period 8- Earth Science Lab (monday, wednesday & friday)
Period8- Free (tuesday & thursday)

Such a busy busy bee I will be this first semester of school. Not to mention all my extra curricular activities such as being the Service Coordinator for my school, doing kaplan classes, dance, piano, studying and preparing for college. Plus, I'm thinking about running for National Honor Society Vice President. Boy oh boy this little lady will not have any kind of social life this upcoming fall and winter. I hope that these colleges, scholarship foundations and even my peers see how much work and dedication it takes to reach and achieve your dreams. Believe in yourself, work hard and never give up, and I promise you, you will land among the stars.

Goals

I am a strong believer in goal setting and an proud example of goal achievement. I usually set yearly goals, you know, the New Year Resolutions that every one makes but never accomplish? Yea those. This year I set those goals for myself and so far I achieved one out of two. My New Year Resolutions were : Place in the queens court at my state pageant and Lose 30 pounds. As of September 3nd 2012, I am proud to say that I Placed fourth runner up at my State pageant and I am 15 pounds lighter. Well any who, the term "Goals" was mentioned late last month in my Class Facebook page. This is what was posted Do you have goals that you would like to achieve over the next year? If you don't then you definitely need to make some, therefore you can be working towards something. When you make these goals write them down and read them twice EVERY day. Once in the morning after you wake up and again before you go to sleep." After reading that post i decided that i should make new goals. Goals that will help my educational growth as well as my personal growth. So here are my goals:

1. Start the year of with a 85(or above) average
2. Maintain it!
3. Make the student body more aware of how important community service is through school wide service events
4. Pass my Advance Placement test with threes or higher
5. Pass my S.A.T's and A.C.T's with above national average scores
6.  Get accepted to my top five college choices. ( this i will share with you another time)
7. Have the best prom every
8. Have the best senior year ever
9. Walk across the stage come June of 2013

Yup so there you have it my goals for the next nine months. These goals may pose some challenges but how will we grow and learn if we do not at least try? So here my Challenge to you. Make a List of goals you wish to accomplish (preferably short term goals) and try to accomplish all of them with in the next nine months. Feel free to share your goals with me and keep me posted on your progress.

Ready.... Set.... Achieve!

Senior Year

As chapter sixteen of my life come to a close and chapter seventeen begin along with my senior year of high school, I can't help but look back on my growth. I've over came many problems, made many memories and accomplished many of my goals. Now I brace myself for this next year and the ones that follow. Seeking adventure, memories, and personal growth, i decided  to get the hard things out of the way: College /Scholarship application, S.A.T's & A.C.T's and (last but not less) my three advanced placement classes. When it comes to school i live by the motto "Work hard now, Play harder later", and that is exactly what I intend to do. I know it wont go in vain when I walk across that stage in June of 2013 or when my college acceptance letters start pouring in. So, here's the start of a long tedious process that will lead to the accomplishment of all my future endeavors.
